The rules for parent-supervised family use of Rifflo’s AI character creation service.
Effective and last updated August 19, 2026These Terms govern use of Rifflo. The Google account holder must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority where they live, be the child’s parent or legal guardian, and have authority to accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
By checking the parent confirmation and signing in, the adult accepts these Terms for their supervised family use.
Rifflo helps children, primarily ages 10–12, create original characters, stories, comics, images, and related worlds with AI assistance. It is not an independent child account or unsupervised childcare service. The adult account holder must remain present, guide the session, and decide whether output is appropriate.
Do not submit real names, school details, addresses, precise locations, contact details, photographs of real children, or other unnecessary personal information. Do not use Rifflo for illegal, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, violent, threatening, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content; malware; surveillance; impersonation; or attempts to bypass safety and account boundaries.
Rifflo may reject prompts, remove content, restrict generation, or suspend access when reasonably necessary for safety, security, law, or enforcement.
As between you and Rifflo, you retain rights you have in the original prompts, choices, and creations submitted or saved through the account. AI-generated material may not qualify for ownership everywhere and may resemble other material.
You grant Rifflo a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transform, and display family content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have the right to submit all content you provide.
AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, repetitive, incomplete, infringing, or inappropriate. Rifflo does not promise that output is unique, suitable for a particular child, or free of third-party rights. The supervising adult must review it and stop using anything unsafe.
The Privacy Policy explains Google authentication, parent-confirmation records, D1 and private R2 storage, OpenRouter processing, essential cookies, retention, international processing, and parent controls. Those practices form part of these Terms.
Rifflo may change models, features, limits, or availability; correct or remove output; and pause the service for safety, maintenance, cost, or legal reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent availability of any feature. Parents should export anything they need to keep.
The parent may stop using Rifflo, export account data, or permanently delete the account. Rifflo may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Data is then handled under the Privacy Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, Rifflo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular educational, creative, or legal purpose. Nothing excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rifflo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill arising from use of the service. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protection.
Mandatory consumer, privacy, and child-protection laws where you live continue to apply.
We may update these Terms. Material updates will be shown with a new date and may require the parent to accept again.
These pages describe Rifflo’s current product behavior. They are not a substitute for advice from counsel qualified in every country where Rifflo is offered, especially for parental verification, international transfers, and children’s privacy.
